Louise In Tech
For most of my career, people have been front and center of what I do from teaching to bootstrapping the next generation for working life. I think the interpersonal and soft skills I’ve developed from this is essential to my journey into Product Management.
The crazy world of Agile. This has been a vast gap in my knowledge that I have been working to bridge. Thankfully great resources are widely available now and I have been motivated to continue to learn more of Agile Principles. I can already see the benefits of Agile transformation and adopting best practices
I have found this to be the most interesting part of my journey into tech. I’ve been practicing in my free time with industry tools such as Jira and confluence. I’ve even created a kanban board for this website. I’m also exploring Miro and learning about Aha!
I am a natural creative and studied Theatre Studies at University level. I believe that the tech industry is desperately in need of a more diverse culture and can benefit hugely from the inclusion of others from non-tech backgrounds. I guess what I’m trying to say is you need people who will ask the right questions, challenge everything and think outside the box.
